Happy National Peanut Butter Lover’s Day! So today I give you a combination of two of my great loves; peanut butter and smoothies. I can almost have a smoothie for every meal. Most days I have just one smoothie, but some days I will have two or 3. They are such a great way to get your fruits and veggies in for the day. This is one of my favorite smoothies that I make. I use PB2, which is a powdered peanut butter, I get mine on Amazon but I know you can get it in some stores. You can also use regular old peanut butter too. I often add a handful of spinach in with this one, you’ll never know it’s in there!
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup frozen mixed berries or frozen strawberries
- 1 cup almond milk
- 2 tablespoons PB2 or peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon chia seed
- 1 tablespoon hemp seed
- 1 handful of spinach
- Place everything in the blender. Blend.
