Country Home Waffles
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups milk
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3 tsp sugar
  1. Warm the milk to room temperature or slightly warmer in the microwave. Takes about 45 seconds in mine.
  2. Mix the eggs, melted butter, and milk together in a large bowl.
  3. Shift the dry ingredients together in a separate bowl.
  4. Add dry ingredients into the liquid ingredients, and mix well by hand. You can use a beater a rubber spatula. You do no want the batter to be lumpy.
  5. Put desired amount into waffle maker and cook on medium high for 3 minutes.
  6. Serve Warm with Favorite topping.
  7. I have a small round waffle maker and I put in about ¼ cup of batter.
